'91 RM80 Dirt Bike

I've sold the RM80. Boy voyage -- I hope its new owner enjoys it as much as I did! I'm leaving this page up because I like the pictures. :-) Another picture.

Nice features of the RM80

• Only 140 lbs!
• The RM80 was the only 80cc bike (at least in '91) with a power valve, so it has more power at low revs than the other 80's (good for trail riding)
• water cooled engine
• front and rear hydraulic disk brakes (stops fast!)
• 6-speed transmission

One cool thing about an 80cc bike is that I can take it on the mini track, a great place for a novice rider to practice jumping. Here's me almost doing a faceplant on the Metcalf mini track while I try to figure out how to control the attitude of the bike in a jump. (The bike recovered, though, no thanks to the rider!)
