Hitchhiker's Guide to Rukl Chart 69

Furnerius (David North <d _at_ timocharis.com>)
The neglected member of the Gang of Four, Furnerius sports what is arguably the best high mag view. It lacks the symmetry and balance of Petavius, but offers up a rille of its own (Rima Furnerius), a complex rumpled floor, all manner of well-formed craterlets, and a large crater off-center. The arrangement of this wealth is only appreciated in the best seeing, as there is something of just about every size and shape -- almost a microcosm of the moon in one crater.
