Darling Harbor and Sydney Aquarium

Darling Harbor is the home of Sydney Aquarium, and that's why we went. In truth, I was a little disappointed by the Aquarium -- I liked the exotic animals (a platypus, a flock of Little Penguins, lots of interesting lizards and long-necked turtles) but I found the visibility and lighting of a lot of the tanks made it hard to see or photograph much detail, compared to other aquaria I've seen (such as Monterey and Long Beach).

However, the walk-through shark tank, which goes over and around the walkway so you can see sharks actually resting on the glass right above your head, was quite impressive, as was the amazing variety of sharks in the tank.

We also had a very nice lime-pepper kangaroo pizza with rocket (that's lettuce) at a bar right next to the harbor whose name I've unfortunately forgotten.
